The State Center Community College District (SCCCD) offers the following Online Academic Counseling Services.

    
SCCCD Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Database

FAQ database can be accessed by clicking on the graphic or directly at
counseling.scccd.edu

The purpose of the FAQ Database is to provide students with a database of questions with district-wide responses.  

  • The FAQ Database is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • The database offers the most commonly asked academic counseling and guidance questions and answers

The intent of the FAQ database is to provide general academic advising. If your question requires immediate attention, please utilize our Live Help online academic counseling component or meet with a counselor in person.

If you would like to speak with a counselor on the phone, please call (559) 325-5230 Clovis Community College Center; (559) 675-4800 for Madera Center, and (559) 683-3940 for the Oakhurst Center during regular business hours.


SCCCD Live Help - (Online Communication with an Academic Counselor)

The Live Help program provides students with an opportunity to communicate with a SCCCD counselor.

  • Live online academic counseling session with a SCCCD Counselor
  • No more standing in line to get your quick questions answered
  • Accessible via the web during designated days and times; available on blackboard
  • Available for current SCCCD students using your student ID# to login

The purpose of the Live Help program is to provide SCCCD students with an additional option to work with a counselor for academic advising purposes only. The online academic counseling session is live and is a recorded session. The online academic counselors can assist all SCCCD students regardless of their main location.


SCCCD Online Orientation

Attention New Students - Take advantage of the State Center Community College District (SCCCD) Online Orientation! It provides information to assist you in becoming familiar with the many educational programs and services offered at the campuses. Upon completion of the online orientation, your orientation hold for registration will be removed. You can access the orientation via the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at:
counseling.scccd.edu

The purpose of the SCCCD online orientation is to provide first time college students with an introduction to the campuses and a comprehensive review of academic programs, student services, college success, campus life, and student conduct standards.
